The Cibus edition that just ended is one to remember with 72,000 visitors of which 16,000 foreign operators and 2,200 top buyers. An unforgetable edition for Pastificio Fabianelli who received the approval of customers, buyers, visitors and interviews on TV thanks to a warm, welcoming, and friendly display area that communicated the tradition of Tuscany and the fame of its products all around the world.
Cibus is reconfirmed as the most important national and international event dedicated to Italian food with 3,000 exhibitors allocated in an area of 130,000 square meters. Among the novelties of this edition a special area for vegetarian and vegan food to meet the growing demand from buyers and consumers with special attention to organic and wellness products. Futhermore, Halal and Kosher certifications are now retained necessary for product exportation.
Pastificio Fabianelli with its three lines of Made in Italy pasta –Pasta Toscana, Fabianelli and Maltagliati – welcomed buyers and visitors in an exhibition space conceived as a tuscany kitchen of the past with a crackling fireplace and brick masonry design walls. A rural and casual refreshment corner that brings back to mind tastes and scents of genuine dishes with ancient origins made from simple local ingredients that can be tasted sitting all together around a big wooden dining table.
The authentic and uncontaminated Tuscany and the know-how that the Fabianelli family hands down since 1860 are not the only things that were appreciated by the foreign food operators who visited the the stand during the show, but innovation is a value that cannot be ignored according to Pastificio Fabianelli in order to make products that meet the needs of consumers. An example of this is the success obtained with Whole Wheat Pasta Toscana with Omega 3 coming from ground flaxseed to which the national TV channel dedicated a report : the premium quality pasta that unites the benefits of fibers and the nutritional properties of fatty acids for preventive action against heart and metabolic disease.
“The Parma exhibition is the demonstration that quality and reaction are the right recipe for the market – affirms Andrea Fabianelli, President of the Pastificio – we must appeal to research and innovation to offer new products to an increasingly aware and demanding public, just like whole wheat pasta with omega 3 coming from flaxseed and not from fish, making it suitable for vegans. ”
