How do you cook a plate of pasta? – Let’s cook pasta together #1
Cooking is made of passion and creativity, but there are things that just can’t be improvised and cooking pasta is one of them. Unfortunately it’s not something that comes naturally but it is a skill and as such there are rules that, if followed to perfection, will allow you to avoid errors that could be “fatal to the palate”.
And the Winner is… Pastificio Fabianelli
Pastificio Fabianelli is the successful protagonist of the Gala Dinner organized in Milano for the assignment of the Cathay Pacific Business Award 2013. The Tuscan Company won thanks to its know-how. A source of pride for all those people who work at the project of Pastificio Fabianelli and for the entire Tuscany.
The verdict was proclaimed by a jury consisting of consultants, professors and experts in the economic and institutional relationships between Italy, China and Hong Kong and that included important exponents as Luca Monti – Head of Private & Corporate Unity UBI Banca; Gianluca Monteleone – Founding Partner Verto Leading Change; Giampaolo Naronte – Managing Partner of the Law Firm Shanghai Office Zunarelli; Roberto Dona – Professor SDA Bocconi and Silvia Tagliaferri, Sales & Marketing Manager Italy and Malta of Cathay Pacific Airways.
An event dedicated to the Italian companies able to stand out for their business relationship created in China and Hong Kong but also in the rest of Asia and Oceania. The spotlights were on the ability to look beyond their national boundaries and the present economic situation.
The atmosphere was full of expectation when Pastificio Fabianelli was called to appear on stage for the category Know-how of the Cathay Pacific Business Award 2013. Here follow the official explanation issued by the jury: “Born in 1860, when the pasta makers of this small Tuscan town, started to produce pasta at industrial level, focusing on tradition, on the absolute hygiene in production cycle and on the selection of the best durum wheat semolina. Thanks to direct cooperation with local importers and distributors in Japan, South Korea, Australia and China, and to important investments able to upgrade machinery and technology, Pastificio Fabianelli has made its capacity and production flexibility available to accomplish what required from Asian markets. Fabianelli is the Italian pioneer concerning Pasta Sales in Asia and this evening it receives an award for the idea of proposing durum wheat pasta with Omega 3 in Japan, a product that combines the Made in Italy and the attention to health and wellbeing, aspects that are so important in Far East culture. The Cathay Pacific Business Award in the category KNOW-HOW goes to Pasta Fabianelli spa “.
After the award ceremony and some official photos, Luca Fabianelli, export manager of the Tuscan Pastificio, issued a brief statement: “This is an award that makes me proud and I want to share it with all those people who work every day with us. After 153 years of history and tradition our Company, despite all the economic difficulties at international level, has the strength to continue to produce in ITALY and to export its goods all over the world. Today we are a company that, according to the theme of Cathay Gala, seeks daily to innovate…”.
Pasta : Italian wealth and passion. The fancy Fabianelli shapes
Over the centuries, pasta has maintained its privileges and characteristics while lending itself to the contemporary interpretations of modern Chefs.
Pastificio Fabianelli, a wholesome and tasty pasta that is KOSHER certified
Today Kosher certification is synonym of quality and wholesomeness. Fabianelli pasta is Kosher certified both with regards to the nature and handling of the ingredients and with regards to the entire production process in accordance with a tradition that has been handed down unchanged for thousands of years all over the world.
The Kosher diet consists of eating habits that are reflected essentially in the Jewish law of the Old Testament. For some the origin of the restrictions is dictated by health and hygiene requirements, for others the restrictions are basically of religious character. Kosher means pure and for this reason hygiene is essential in all the processes that lead to the finished product.
The Kosher certification granted to Pastificio Fabianelli guaranties that the ingredients used for the production of pasta are wholesome and intact and protected from foreign contamination.
Today Kosher certification has a greater value and not only for people of Jewish religion for whom these restrictions are law. The kashrut market attracts muslims, people with dietary restrictions and whoever wants food of superior quality coming from a reputable source.
This growing demand, about +12% yearly is an important opportunity for Pastificio Fabianelli: Experts visit the production plant and collaborate with food producers not only in the supervision of the ingredients but during all the process up to the packaging phase. In fact, Kosher food made with utensils previously used for non kosher food becomes non kosher itself. It is a tradition that has been handed down for thousands of years and does not admit failure or neglect.
